Overview
We've partnered with a growing manufacturing business that is building its People & Culture function. They are looking for a confident, capable HR Advisor to support a blue-colour workforce and help drive the next stage of their HR strategy.
Role Responsibilities
Oversee payroll administration (Employment Hero), ensuring award compliance and accurate processing.
Assist with end-to-end recruitment and onboarding for both frontline and support roles.
Provide first-line HR support on policies, performance, engagement, and employment conditions.
Support WHS, RTW, and workers' comp matters in collaboration with external providers.
Maintain HR systems, records, contracts, and reporting (turnover, leave, etc.).
Drive engagement initiatives, internal communications, and support cyclical HR processes.
Interpret the Manufacturing Award and coach leaders on compliance and best practice.
What About You
Experience in HR coordination or advisory, ideally within manufacturing or blue-colour environments.
Solid understanding of modern awards, payroll administration, and employment legislation.
Proactive and approachable, with confidence to coach and guide frontline leaders.
Comfortable working onsite full-time and embedded with operational teams.
Strong communicator with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
RTW accreditation and Mental Health First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
