We are now seeking our next "superhero" to join the CareSuper team on our exciting journey as we continue to grow and demonstrate that we truly care.
What the role looks like
In this role, reporting to the Senior Manager Business Development, you will be a key contributor in the following areas:
Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with external financial advisers, financial planning practice owners, practice management and other key decision makers in financial planning business as well as licensees, research houses and other stakeholders in Western Australia.
Prospecting and canvassing opportunities to attract employers (new and existing) to select CareSuper as their default fund.
Increasing employer contributions through the growth of the membership base within the non-default employers.
Working with the Senior Manager Business Development to develop strategies and initiatives which support the retention and growth in relationships and membership from these sectors in Western Australia.
Undertaking regular engagement with external financial advisers, employers and other stakeholders including meetings, seminars, promotion and education activities, attending conferences.
Assisting and supporting external Financial Advisers with client/member enquiries or other requests, including member escalations.
Who are we looking for?
We're on the lookout for passionate individuals who embody our values.
If you have the following, we want to hear from you:
A Strong understanding of financial planning and superannuation
RG146 compliance
Knowledge of the broader wealth management and industry fund sectors
Ability to articulate the strengths and weaknesses of different superannuation funds
Extensive experience as a Business Development Manager or in a similar role
Experience working with financial planners or financial planning practices
A background in superannuation, wealth management, or financial services
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships in the financial advice sector
Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance or similar will be advantageous
