Delivering Compassionate Nursing Care in Community Settings
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Enrolled Nurse to join our team in delivering high-quality, client-focused care across Brisbane.
This role involves providing clinical nursing care in community settings, supporting clients with medical needs, rehabilitation, and daily health management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide enrolled nursing care to clients in their homes in accordance with care plans and clinical instructions
* Perform wound care, catheter care, continence care, and basic clinical procedures within scope of practice
* Assist with medication administration and monitoring as directed
* Support clients with chronic disease management, rehabilitation, and recovery following hospital discharge
* Observe, monitor, and accurately record client health status and report changes to supervising clinicians
* Provide health education, home safety instructions, and support to clients and families
* Work collaboratively with registered nurses, allied health professionals, and care coordinators
* Maintain accurate clinical documentation, progress notes, and incident reports
* Uphold infection control standards, professional ethics, and client confidentiality at all times
Requirements:
* Diploma of Nursing or equivalent qualification
* Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA
* Demonstrated experience in clinical nursing, preferably in community or home care settings
* Sound clinical judgement and ability to work within scope of practice
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently in client homes and as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Current unrestricted Australian driver licence
* Willigness and ability to travel to and provide services at clients' homes
* Availability to work rostered shifts, including weekends where required
* National Police Check
* Working with Children Check
* Blue Card
* Evidence of right to work in Australia
