Rate: AUD $1,000 – $1,300 per day (inclusive) (Full-time FTC also considered)

The Opportunity
Focus on DF are supporting a national organisation delivering a full-suite Dayforce implementation. As the programme moves from Discovery & Design in to Build and Implementation we are looking for an experienced Dayforce Project Manager / Implementation Lead to sit client-side and take ownership of delivery and guide the business through the journey
The Role
This Dayforce-specific project management role is focused on driving delivery, strengthening governance, and acting as a Dayforce SME on the client side.
You will lead a complex, multi-stream Dayforce programme, ensuring risks are proactively managed and that the organisation is supported through build, deployment, and stabilisation.
This role is best suited to senior project managers with direct Dayforce implementation experience, who are comfortable challenging system integrators, managing executive stakeholders, and operating in high-scrutiny delivery environments.
What You'll Do
* Lead the Dayforce implementation (Build → Go-Live → Hypercare)
* Own delivery governance, planning, RAID management, and executive reporting
* Act as the client-side Dayforce authority, constructively challenging SI design and delivery decisions
* Manage multiple workstreams across HR, Workforce Management, and Payroll
* Drive delivery cadence across build, testing, cutover, and deployment
* Engage closely with senior stakeholders, including C-suite and Steering Committee
* Support post-go-live stabilisation, embedding, and handover to internal teams
* Ensure risks, dependencies, and design implications are clearly understood and managed
What You'll Bring
* Strong understanding of Workforce Management, ideally in complex or award-based environments
* Experience operating in consulting / SI-led or complex client-side programmes
* Strong governance, risk management, and delivery discipline
* A pragmatic, structured, and delivery-focused approach (not a "fluffy" PM role)
* Confidence operating under scrutiny and external assurance
