About the Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Associate or Senior Associate to join our Commercial Litigation team in Melbourne on a permanent, full‑time basis. Working directly with leading commercial litigators, this hands‑on role will see you running your own litigation files on a variety of commercial litigation and insolvency matters. Working for a range of high net worth individuals and leading businesses, this is a truly mixed role, spanning complex contractual disputes, property disputes, insolvency and a wide range of other varied and interesting matters.
About You
Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years’ PAE, with a genuine passion and experience in commercial litigation. You may be a senior associate.
Your previous experience will include advocacy work, and you will have a keen desire to continue developing this skill.
Our clients are at the heart of all that we do, so we are looking for a candidate who demonstrates a strong client service focus and a commercial approach to all dealings.
In addition to your strong technical skills, you will be commercial, highly organised, display strong written and verbal communication and demonstrate an ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines. We are also looking for a self‑starter with a commitment to ongoing learning and development in this area of practice. You will have the ability to work both independently, and collaboratively as part of a close‑knit and energetic team.
