About the role
RN-3 As the Safety, Quality, and Risk Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Campus Operations Manager to uphold and enhance the safety and quality standards at LMH. You'll be responsible for developing and implementing the site's quality plan, managing accreditation processes, conducting clinical audits, and overseeing patient safety initiatives. This role provides the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the delivery of healthcare services by ensuring compliance with the latest clinical and corporate risk management frameworks, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
In this role, you will take the lead in coordinating key initiatives that drive the achievement of SAMI, NALHN, and CALHN accreditation standards. Your expertise will guide the implementation of clinical quality activities, management of patient incidents, and the application of safety principles across SA Medical Imaging (SAMI). You will also be a trusted advisor, providing education and support on national standards such as the Diagnostic Imaging Accreditation Scheme (DIAS) and the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHS). Qualifications: Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia
AHP-3 The Safety, Quality & Risk Coordinator will play a vital role in ensuring that SA Medical Imaging at Lyell McEwin Hospital is a quality-assured and accredited service provider. You will lead and coordinate the Division's Quality Assurance (QA) Program, driving initiatives to maintain the highest standards of service delivery. Your responsibilities will include providing expert advice and recommendations, developing and implementing consumer review processes, and overseeing key performance indicators, policies, and procedures. You'll also manage an internal audit schedule, conduct research and investigations, and assess risks, all while ensuring that the department's practices align with the latest standards in healthcare quality.
In this dynamic role, you will be a key player in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety within the service. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, advising on risk management strategies and supporting a patient-centred approach to care.
