The Team Leader position offers a unique blend of leadership and hands-on service delivery. As a key member of our team, you will play a dual role: supporting volunteer drivers to ensure they are confident, engaged, and equipped to deliver high-quality support, while also working directly in transport services.
 * Mentor and support new volunteer drivers through onboarding and buddy shifts to ensure a smooth transition into their roles.
 * Provide ongoing guidance, training, and encouragement to volunteer drivers to enhance their skills and confidence.
 * Assist with communication and volunteer engagement activities to foster a sense of community and teamwork.
 * Ensure quality and safety standards are maintained across transport services by conducting regular audits and providing feedback to volunteers.
 * Deliver safe, respectful, and reliable transport to clients, including mobility assistance, and maintain accurate records of services provided.
 * Contribute to service area improvement initiatives by identifying areas for growth and implementing changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

About You
We are looking for someone who:
 * Has experience in aged care, disability, or community support services and understands the importance of delivering high-quality care and support.
 * Demonstrates strong leadership, mentoring, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate a team of volunteer drivers.
 * Is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others and understands the impact that our services can have on the community.
 * Thrives in a busy, people-focused environment and is able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
 * Holds a current driver's licence and is physically capable of assisting clients.
 * Is confident using computers and basic digital tools to maintain accurate records and contribute to service area improvement initiatives.
 * Experience working with volunteers will be highly regarded.
 * Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Disability, Individual Support, or Community Services (or equivalent experience).
 * Current First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain).
