About the Role: Community Care Occupational Therapist
We’re seeking an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our growing Allied Health team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys community OT, home visits, building strong client relationships, and working autonomously.
You’ll support clients across the Sunshine Coast to participate in meaningful daily activities, increase independence, and enhance wellbeing. You’ll also have the freedom to design a caseload and schedule that suits your working style.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality Occupational Therapy services including functional assessments, goal-driven interventions, and evidence-based therapy.
* Support clients to improve independence in ADLs and IADLs.
* Prescribe and coordinate assistive technology, adaptive equipment, and home modifications.
* Develop OT care plans and progress reports in line with clinical and service standards.
* Educate clients, carers, and staff on functional capacity, safety, and engagement in meaningful activities.
* Manage an autonomous caseload while maintaining clear communication and accurate documentation.
* Engage in ongoing professional development and best-practice learning.
* Provide supervision and direction to Allied Health Assistants (AHA).
Ideal Candidate
We're looking for an AHPRA-registered Occupational Therapist who demonstrates:

* Strong attention to detail
* Confidence working independently in a community-based OT role

What You’ll Need
* Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
* Minimum 1 year of OT experience (Community Care, Home Care or similar experience highly regarded)
* National Police Check (or ability to obtain)
* Current Australian driver’s licence + reliable vehicle
