Substance Use Disorder Specialist
The role requires the provision of case management services to patients with poly-substance use dependence.
Responsibilities
* Practicing and promoting safe, efficient and effective nursing care that reflects current standards of nursing practices.
* Providing high quality person-centred nursing care in accordance with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia Standards for Practice for Registered Nurses.
* Utilizing the principles of Trauma Informed Care.
Requirements
* Current Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
* Demonstrated experience and ability in assessment and management of substance use disorders and withdrawal states.
Work Environment
This is a Category A position. Recommended applicants will be reviewed for compliance with NSW Health policy directive for Category A positions prior to offer.
