Key Responsibilities
* Plan and prepare menus that cater to diverse tastes and dietary requirements
* Lead day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring efficient and safe food production
* Develop and maintain relationships with residents, their families, and colleagues to understand their needs and preferences
* Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will require:
* A proven track record of delivering high-quality culinary services in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent knowledge of food services, including menu planning, nutrition, and cooking techniques
* Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing teams and delegating tasks
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, staff, and external stakeholders
* A nationally coordinated criminal history check and NDIS worker screening check (if applicable)
