Join the Orange Aboriginal Medical Service (OAMS) team as a Casual Healthy Ageing Support Worker in a diverse role, providing care and support to our customers within their own homes with the ability to be flexible in work hours. We have casual positions available below.
* Transport – this is to take participants to and/or from appointments or places and other outings as required. From point A to point B and staff do not stay with them. (Availability of a fully registered and comprehensively insured vehicle is a mandatory requirement)
* Domestic Assistance – duties such as vacuuming, laundry, general cleaning, dusting, washing dishes, cleaning windows, cleaning carpets, making beds, basic home maintenance. Duties and tasks will vary between participants, promoting independence and capacity building.
* Assist with Personal Care – may be standby assist or actual hands‐on support while showering, drying, dressing, grooming etc. depending on participant need, promoting independence and capacity building (Hold a Certificate III in Aged Care or Disability Support or Individual Support and have experience).
* Social Support – community. Promote social inclusion, may include outings to groups, support with shopping/errands.

Selection Criteria
* Driver's license and a fully registered and insured vehicle.
* Current First Aid including CPR qualification.
* Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent (desired but not essential) or willingness to complete certificate.
* NDISWC and WWCC (or willingness to obtain).
