The Women & Children's Health Outpatient unit is seeking an experienced administrator to join their team. As Team Leader, you will act as a frontline leader to administration officers and assist in management and training of administrative staff within the Outpatient Clinic. Leading the team, you will ensure staff are maintaining a high standard of customer service, accurately recording patient activity and optimising revenue through efficient data capture and billing processes. What You Will Bring To The Role

* Possess highly developed frontline customer services and interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and the ability to bring a creative approach to problem solving, negotiation and conflict resolution. Ability to confidently and courteously deal with a variety of people in a multidisciplinary environment
* Demonstrated extensive experience in a clinic setting including referral pathways, waitlist management, billing practices and clinic workflow management.
* Demonstrate ability to work under limited direction both independently and collaboratively within the team environment. Well-developed time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently with set deadlines with proven ability to work under pressure.
* Excellent knowledge and understanding of supervising staffing, including requirements and skills; in the absence of the coordinator provide appropriate roster coverage at short notice due to sick leave or a roster deficit.
* Demonstrate ability to carry out a variety of functions which may be complex in nature and require judgment in selecting and applying established principles, techniques and methods.
* Demonstrate leadership of administrative staff monitoring department priorities, planning and organisation of daily activity to ensure delivery of customer focused service.
* Demonstrate commitment to promoting a positive workplace culture in a challenging and ever‑changing work environment within a team of diverse personalities and cultures.
