Tip Top are looking for a dynamic and driven Site Supervisor to join our Project Team. Based primarily out of Springwood QLD site, this role will be responsible for the coordination of site works and managing up to 30 contractors in a brownfield FMCG manufacturing environment. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will ensure the timely delivery of ongoing project works while ensuring safety is front of mind as we deliver capital investments in a GMP fast paced manufacturing food production environment.
This role is currently 6am-2pm however you will be required to be flexible and work longer hours or weekends during peak workloads. In return you will receive time in lieu.
Purpose of the Role
The purpose of this role is to execute effective contractor management to ensure that works are completed on schedule and in line with WHS requirements as Tip Top will be acting as the Principal.
4. Ensure that contractors are working safely and to their SWMS
5. Ensure a safe working environment for all employees, contractors, visitors etc
6. Review serious injuries/incidents and ensure corrective actions are implemented and reviewed in a timely manner as per the incident investigation Procedure
7. Ensure all relevant Contractor Licences/Insurances and any other relevant documentation is current prior to issuing a Permit to Work. Ensure all work permits are closed/handed over as per the Permit to Work procedure
8. Site project management between operations, contractors and installation teams. Includes project management of smaller packages.
9. Conduct daily/weekly toolbox talks
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
10. Minimum 5+ years' experience in similar role
11. Experience working in a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment
12. Experience coordinating contractors either in an electrical or civil/mechanical environment
13. Knowledge of Australian standards and requirements (working at heights, compliance based entry, hot works, permit issuing, etc)
14. Ability to use initiative and be proactive/forward thinker
15. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
