Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced veterinary nurse with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. As an Equine Veterinary Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to equine patients, working alongside experienced veterinarians and researchers to deliver efficient nursing assistance and ensure compliance with best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide veterinary nursing support and horse handling to ensure high-quality patient care.
* Maintain supplies, equipment, and adherence to infection control and safety standards to ensure efficient service delivery.
* Record and maintain patient details to facilitate client appointments and communication.
* Assist in the supervision and assessment of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) students.
* Contribute to effective communication and foster working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
* Possess relevant qualifications and experience in equine veterinary nursing or animal care.
* Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Exhibit strong organizational and time management abilities with attention to detail and adherence to policies and procedures.
