About the Prospect
We’re searching for a full-time Offset Printer to join our production team in Toowoomba, QLD.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will join a collaborative production team and take ownership of operating our suite of advanced printing presses.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Operating offset presses including A1 and A2 8 Colour LED UV Machines and 2-colour 52 presses
- Maintaining strong colour matching and executing fine adjustments
- Carrying out preventative maintenance and ensuring equipment cleanliness
- Ensuring presses remain in optimum running condition
- Identifying and reporting any repairs or safety issues
- Following process-driven print production systems
- Participating in good housekeeping practices
- Planning production runs and working independently when required
About You
To qualify, you’ll bring a trade qualification in printing or equivalent hands-on experience in commercial press environments. Ideally, you’ll have 3–5+ years of experience, but we’re also open to recently qualified printers or early-career tradespeople with the right mindset and a strong desire to learn.
We’re looking for someone who is confident on the press, committed to craftsmanship, and excited to work with high-quality equipment in a clean, well-run facility.
Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:
- Experience operating RMGT, Komori, Heidelberg, Mitsubishi, or similar offset presses
- Familiarity with multi-colour print processes and LED-UV technology or a willingness to learn (full training provided)
- Ability to carry out preventative maintenance and maintain machine cleanliness
- A strong eye for detail, especially in colour matching and registration
- The ability to work independently while following structured production processes
