Key Responsibilities
* Deliver technical expertise on a broad range of dams projects, including water dams and tailings dams for various uses such as municipal, mining, agriculture, and hydropower, particularly throughout Northern Australia.
* Provide technical delivery, focusing on geotechnical, structural, and/or design management skills applied to dams and/or tailings projects.
* Actively participate in client relationship management, business development, proposal development, reports, and technical analysis.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will ideally have more than 3 years' post-graduation experience in dams engineering. Chartered RPEQ engineer status is preferred or working towards this status. You should hold a Bachelor of Engineering Degree (Civil) or higher qualifications.
Your knowledge of design of a broad range of dam types, including embankment and concrete dams, is essential. Knowledge of the Queensland dam safety legislation is an advantage. Experience working in multi-disciplined teams, including geologists, structural engineers, hydraulic engineers, hydro-mechanical, and electro-mechanical engineers, is also desirable.
