The Role
We are looking for a dynamic, proactive Recruiter to lead and grow our recruitment arm within Ahoy Club Fleet Management. This role goes beyond filling roles, it's about building strong crew pipelines, driving performance, and positioning Ahoy Club as the preferred recruitment partner for yacht owners and charter operations. You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, oversee crew performance and training, and actively contribute to revenue growth through recruitment services.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Placement
* Recruit full‐time, part‐time, and casual crew on behalf of Fleet Management clients and charter bookings
* Manage end‐to‐end recruitment processes including job briefs, advertising, screening, interviews, placement, and onboarding
* Build and maintain a strong, reliable crew pool across multiple roles and vessel types
* Match crew effectively to owner expectations, vessel culture, and charter requirements
Screening & Compliance
* Screen candidates to ensure alignment with Ahoy Club values, policies, and procedures
* Verify qualifications, references, availability, and right‐to‐work requirements
* Ensure all placements meet operational, legal, and safety standards
Crew Operations
* Manage timesheets, job orders, bookings, and placements
* Act as the key point of contact for crew during placements
* Handle last‐minute changes, replacements, and operational challenges with confidence
Training & Development
* Run all crew training modules, ensuring they are current, relevant, and engaging
* Continuously update and improve training content to reflect industry standards and company expectations
* Track training completion and compliance across all active crew
Performance & Feedback
* Lead performance reviews and feedback surveys for crew
* Work with Fleet Management and owners to address performance issues and development opportunities
* Create and implement policies and procedures that drive continuous improvement in crew standards
Business Growth & Revenue
* Drive revenue for Ahoy Club's recruitment arm
* Actively build relationships with yacht owners, captains, and charter managers
* Position Ahoy Club as the go‐to recruitment partner for yacht crew
* Identify opportunities to expand recruitment services and improve client retention
Process & Systems (Recommended Additions)
* Develop and refine recruitment workflows, databases, and reporting systems
* Track key recruitment metrics (time to hire, crew retention, performance outcomes)
* Collaborate with internal teams to align recruitment with fleet operations and charter demand
