Urban Planner Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Urban Planner to join our team. As an Urban Planner, you will play a key role in supporting our council's building, environmental health, and planning services to help our community plan, build, and maintain inspiring spaces and places to live, work, and play safely.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and customer-focused administrative professional to join our high-performance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining computer records, dealing with correspondence, preparing documentation for external stakeholders, and providing excellent customer service.
About the Role:
* Assist in the development of policies and procedures related to city planning and development.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using Pathway and Content Manager.
* Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
* Prepare documents and reports for council meetings and other stakeholders.
Key Requirements:
* Possess a passion for customer service and a strong commitment to delivering excellent outcomes.
* Hold knowledge of planning development and building approvals, and/or environmental health processes in Victoria.
* Experience using computer databases and records management systems.
* Demonstrate strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Show ability to work effectively and flexibly in a team environment.
