Description
About the role – Permanent, full-time (2 Vacancies)
You will be a part of People First Bank's Compliance Advisory Management function which supports People First Bank at an enterprise level. With deep subject-matter expertise and a solutions-focused mindset, this team ensures People First Bank operates with integrity, confidence and a strong compliance culture.
In this role, you will shape our compliance risk profile, influence senior stakeholders and drive sustainable regulatory change across the business. This is your chance to champion a risk-aware culture and make a meaningful impact on how we serve our customers with integrity. As a key Line 1 advisor, you will partner with leaders to manage compliance risks and ensure regulatory obligations are met with clarity and confidence.
Key responsibilities include:
* Act as the first port of call for pragmatic, commercial and solutions-focused Line 1 compliance advice, translating complex obligations into clear, actionable guidance that supports PFB in delivering products honestly, fairly and efficiently.
* Shape and maintain People First Bank's compliance risk profile by identifying emerging compliance risks, conducting compliance risk assessments, and providing high-quality recommendations that influence operational decision-making.
* Drive the sustainable embedment of the Compliance Risk Management Framework (CRMF) across the 3 Lines of Defence, empowering stakeholders to confidently own their obligations, controls and risk responsibilities.
* Support the triage of incidents, identifying compliance related incidents, breaches and potentially reportable situations, ensuring accurate reporting to Line 2 and regulators, timely remediation, and continuous reduction of future non-compliance risk.
* Partner closely with business, Reform Owners and Risk Advisory Managers to implement regulatory change, reviewing policies, procedures, controls, system uplift and training to ensure new obligations are met without compromising customer or business outcomes.
* Build strong, trusted relationships with senior business stakeholders, providing influential insights and high-quality reporting at Committees, and championing a risk-aware culture that reinforces People First Bank's reputation for integrity and customer trust.
About you
Step into a high-impact role where your compliance expertise drives confident decision-making across the bank. Partner with senior leaders, manage emerging compliance risks and regulatory change and influence the way People First Bank meets its regulatory obligations with integrity.
You will succeed in this role if you have:

* You have an analytical mindset with the ability to interpret regulations, assess compliance risks, and constructively challenge stakeholders where needed.
* You excel at building trusted relationships across all levels of the business and thrive in a collaborative, advisory-focused environment.
* You demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and strong record-keeping, ensuring accuracy in reporting, incidents and regulatory submissions.
* You are an exceptional communicator who can translate complex regulatory requirements into clear, practical and commercially minded advice for senior stakeholders.
