About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at DEVELOPER IDEAS PTY LTD' as a Site foreman. As a Site foreman, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of construction projects and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality outcomes. This full-time position is based in Sydney NSW 2000.
What you'll be doing
* Supervising and coordinating the work of construction crews to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards
* Monitoring and optimising site operations to maximise efficiency and productivity
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
* Communicating effectively with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to address any issues or concerns
* Overseeing the allocation of resources, including materials, equipment, and labour
* Providing guidance and support to the construction team, and identifying training and development needs
* Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to the project
What we're looking for
* Significant experience (5+ years) as a site foreman or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry
* Strong technical knowledge of construction processes, materials, and equipment
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate teams
* Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans, specifications, and drawings
* Thorough understanding of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
* Able to work collaboratively in a team environment and take on a hands-on, proactive approach
