About the Role
This part-time position involves assisting in subject recruitment and food challenge supervision for various clinical trials, including those related to FPIES. As a Clinical Trial Registered Nurse, you will work closely with researchers and healthcare professionals to ensure the smooth conduct of these trials.
You will be based at Sydney Children's Hospitals Network, where you will have access to state-of-the-art facilities and equipment. This role requires a current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA, as well as considerable clinical nursing experience working in a hospital setting.
The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workload with competing demands. You will also possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proven ability to build successful working relationships with all levels of staff, management and collaborators.
Key Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role include:
* Assisting in subject recruitment and food challenge supervision for various clinical trials.
* Working closely with researchers and healthcare professionals to ensure the smooth conduct of these trials.
* Maintaining accurate and detailed records of trial activities and results.
* Providing education and support to patients and their families.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
* Considerable clinical nursing experience working in a hospital setting.
* Experience or strong interest in the administration, coordination and delivery of paediatric research and clinical trials.
* Demonstrated excellent organisational skill and ability to prioritise workload with competing demands.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proven ability to build successful working relationships with all levels of staff, management and collaborators.
