Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to lead and coordinate clinical trial activities in our Haematology and Oncology services.

About the Position:

This is a temporary full-time position until April 2028.

Key Responsibilities:
">
* Coordinate all aspects of care during and after clinical trial participation.
">
* Liaise with the Haematology/Oncology clinical team, other members of the clinical trials unit, and stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination of care.
">
* Provide expert nursing care and leadership to ensure high-quality data collection and optimal patient outcomes.
">
* Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
">
Requirements:
">
* A current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse / Midwife (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA).
">
* Relevant post-registration qualifications in Haematology/Oncology Nursing/Clinical trials, and at least 3 years' experience working in the clinical area of the specified post-graduate qualification.
">
* Demonstrated ability to coordinate care, and knowledge of evidence-based medicine, ideally including a broad knowledge of research processes and methodology in the Haematology/Oncology clinical trials space.

* High computer literacy skills and extensive experience in using Microsoft Office Suite (including Teams and SharePoint), as well as familiarity and/or experience in using electronic patient record systems.
