Ultrafast Science Research Fellow
Monash University is seeking a highly motivated Research Fellow to join the Faculty of Science and School of Physics and Astronomy. We are looking for an exceptional candidate with expertise in ultrafast science, strong research skills, and excellent communication abilities.
The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team working on cutting-edge projects related to graphene metamaterials and thermoradiative devices. They will have the opportunity to design, simulate, fabricate, and measure graphene structures using state-of-the-art techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct high-quality research in ultrafast light-matter interactions in graphene metamaterials.
* Collaborate with leading researchers in the field using ultrafast laser spectroscopy.
* Develop and implement novel simulation methods for graphene-based systems.
Qualifications and Requirements:
* PhD in Physics, Materials Engineering, or a closely related field.
* Extensive research experience in ultrafast science.
* Expertise in at least one of the following: metamaterials design and/or fabrication, graphene and/or other 2D materials fabrication and measurement, electronic and/or optoelectronic device measurements.
