We are currently seeking experienced teaching artists to work across our program for children and young people in Grade 3 – Grade 12, and adult short course ages 18+ programs. This is a casual teaching opportunity based in Brisbane. Teaching opportunities are seasonal and subject to enrolment figures.
Responsibilities
* Teach classes in drama and acting within your area of expertise for children, young people and adults.
* Collaborate with program management to design and deliver class content.
* Participate in practical interview/workshop style demonstrations of teaching practice (for hire).
Qualifications and Skills
* Demonstrated experience in drama and acting for children and young people in Grades 3-12.
* Experience in screen acting for children and young people in Grades 4-12.
* Experience in acting for adults.
* Experience in screen acting for adults.
* Valid Working With Children Check (or ability to obtain).
* Commitment to support and implement NIDA's Child Safe Strategies.
