This is an opportunity to join an established brand with an international reach, contributing directly to the APAC strategy while leading a high-performing finance function across multiple jurisdictions.These guys know they have a good business and are actively positioning themselves to take market share and accelerate strategic growth plans.The Role Profile: Reporting to and supporting the Global CFO (overseas), you will be responsible for ensuring that local financial goals and objectives are achieved.
This will encompass all areas of financial and management reporting, compliance and statutory obligations and commercial planning and analysis.Bigger PictureAssess APAC commercial initiatives, business performance & profitability and market trends.Act as the strategic finance lead for the APAC business, working as part of a cross-functional leadership team to achieve revenue targets and sustainable market growthBe a key participant in global finance initiatives, including an upcoming rollout of a new ERPDay-to-Day DutiesIn coordination with your four direct reports, oversee the APAC finance team's day-to-day operations (20+) with staff located throughout ANZ + SEA.Ensure timely and accurate completion of statutory accounts, taxation and regulatory obligations for each market.Manage treasury functions including cash flow modelling and forecasting, maintaining reliable cash flow projections and reporting.Maintain external relationships with the auditors, banks, regulators, financiers etc.Ensure the timely delivery of a comprehensive management reporting packAnalysis of P&L; KPI's tracking sales, margins, costs, etcDrive the monthly consolidation of international entities into group reportingPrepare the monthly board back and supporting documentationMonitor business performance against long-term financial plansThings to consider carefullyA small element of domestic travel will be required with this roleReporting offshore, conference calls often occur late in the afternoon and can routinely go until 7:00pm.
These, of course, can be taken at home, and the environment is incredibly flexible, allowing you to reclaim the time elsewherSuccessful Candidate ProfileCA/CPA qualified, you will possess a strong technical grounding with a good measure of commercial savvy to ensure success.Prior experience in the hospitality, travel, aviation or cruise line sectors will be highly beneficial.
The business is all about the margins, so the ability to quickly understand the profit levers and draw conclusions is essential.Experience managing a mix of onshore and offshore staff will be advantageous.An initial grounding in Chartered Accounting is preferred but not essential.You will have proven people skills and experience as the finance representative on an executive leadership team or board.Salary expectations will align with $200,000 package + Bonus.Why Apply?
