You will ensure the service expectations of internal and external clients consistently meet the recognised service level standard.This is a full-time permanent opportunity working 5 days per week. Working hours from 7:00am to 3:30pm**Key responsibilities**In this role, you will be responsible for:* Providing a high standard of food and beverage service, including coffee service/barista and setting up/clearing for functions/meetings in a prompt, professional and friendly manner. This includes breakfasts, morning teas, lunches, afternoon teas, cocktail parties, dinners and VIP functions* Working the occasional morning and evening functions* Assisting in the inhouse cafe* The opening and closing of the client floor, ensuring all is complete for operations* General administration e.g. processing tax invoices* Assist with the cleaning and restocking of the staff hubs* Assist kitchen staff with various duties including washing dishes* Other tasks as requested by the Catering Manager**Skills & Experience** To be successful in this role, you will have:* 1-2 years' experience in a hospitality environment, corporate experience highly desirable.* Experience as a barista or very good coffee skills* Excellent customer service skills* A high level of organisational skills* Ability to work unsupervised* Flexible in working hours when required* Knowledge of table setting, experience in fine dining environment will be highly regarded.* Certification in Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)We prefer to work directly with candidates, if you are interested in this role, please click the 'Apply' button or contact the consultant, details below, for more information.
