About This Role
Join a mission driven team creating high-quality, community-focused homes that offer long-term stability for renters. As our Maintenance Officer, you will lead all defect, warranty, and maintenance operations across our growing Victoria Single Family Homes (SFH) portfolio - ensuring every home meets the standards our communities deserve.
Responsibilities
* Overseeing the full builder defect reporting process
* Accurately assess and categorise defects, warranties, and maintenance needs
* Scheduling and managing trades/contractors to complete repairs on time
* Keeping renters, builders, trades/contractors, and internal teams informed with clear updates
* Curating and manage emergency call-out registers
* Ensuring all work meets SFH quality and compliance standards.
Skills & Experience
* Experience in residential maintenance, building defects, or property operations.
* Strong coordination and scheduling capabilities
* Competence in digital maintenance/work order systems.
* Ability to travel across regional and metropolitan clusters - valid Driver's Licence is a must.
* Valid Police Check and unrestricted working rights in Australia.
