We are seeking compassionate and reliable Disability Support Workers to join our team. In this role, you will provide person-centred support to individuals living with disabilities, helping them achieve greater independence, participate in the community, and improve their overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide daily living support including personal care, hygiene, and grooming
* Assist clients with household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and shopping
* Support clients to attend community activities, appointments, and social events
* Encourage independence, skill development, and participation in everyday activities
* Follow individual support plans and behaviour support strategies
* Maintain accurate documentation and report any changes in client needs
* Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment
Requirements
* Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, or similar
* Previous experience in disability support or community care
* Current First Aid and CPR certification
* Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
* NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
* Working With Children Check
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Compassionate, patient, and reliable nature
