Role: Acting Director of Nursing Maldon Hospital Employment Type: Fixed Term Contract, full-time, from 30th June 2025 until 28th September 2025
Award: Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Health Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2024-2028
About the role: The primary responsibility of the Director of Nursing is to ensure the highest quality of care for patients, residents, and clients at Maldon Hospital. This involves delivering evidence-based, safe, and effective clinical care and support.
This senior role contributes to Dhelkaya Health's vision and purpose. The role champions Dhelkaya Health's values, promotes strategic objectives, and manages work practices to ensure staff wellbeing, a positive work environment, and safety, free from harassment and discrimination.
About you: Registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nurses and Midwives Board of Australia and a current practicing certificate. At least three years' experience in senior health management roles. Postgraduate qualification in health or management, or working towards one, is preferred.
