About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supporting a team of Business Services Operators, meeting performance targets, and maintaining strong working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing a portfolio of key corporate clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
* Overseeing and coordinating freight bookings, consignment preparation, and carrier selection
* Providing guidance on preparing quotations, managing service timelines, and resolving any service issues
* Maintaining accurate records and monitoring workload distribution to meet deadlines and SLAs
The ideal candidate will have:
* Previous supervisory or team lead experience in a logistics, freight forwarding, or similar environment
* Strong knowledge of freight management systems, pricing structures, transport regulations, and compliance
* High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
* Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise under pressure
