We are seeking a qualified professional to fill the role of Cultural Heritage Officer. This position will involve working in a professional and collaborative team environment, with interesting projects that challenge skills.
The ideal candidate will have at least five years' experience in green or brownfield infrastructure construction projects utilizing cultural heritage management processes, standards, and responsibilities.
Key responsibilities include liaising, consulting, and building effective relationships with stakeholders; delivering guidance on cultural heritage issues; providing planning, design, and construction advice; and managing field audits.
The successful candidate will possess a minimum Cert 4 in Culture & Heritage Management and a current car driver's license. A Bachelor of Arts in Culture & Heritage or membership of a related professional body is desirable.
The role may be based anywhere in QLD, with preference given to candidates living in Queensland or willing to relocate. The position involves working from project offices and attending multiple sites throughout the relevant region.
Civil Construction Industry background and experience are highly valued. We welcome expressions of interest from all suitable candidates.
The hours of work will be nominally 40 hours per week, however this could vary with each role pending project requirements. Part-time hours may also be available.
