Job Title
We are seeking a talented HR Generalist to join our team in Sydney, Australia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality HR support to employees and managers across the region. This includes:
1. Recruitment (40%)
* Manage the full cycle of recruitment internally and externally. Including sourcing, screening, interview assessment, onboarding, new hire orientation and offboarding.
* Manage recruitment advertising channels aligning candidates with our employer branding and ensuring there is a healthy pipeline for workforce planning.
* Source recruitment vendors, manage performance to ensure workforce pipeline, assess the qualification of candidates, arrange interviews and send out employment offers to candidates.
* Working with stakeholders to understand the business direction, planning and challenges to lead the headcount planning strategy.
* Train and develop hiring managers on interview and feedback structures.
* Develop and support employer branding campaigns and the relationship with external organizations (universities, job fairs or professional event coordinators etc.).
* Constantly keeping updated with local employment market trends and conducting frequent competitor analysis.
HR Operations & Administrative Support (40%):
* Manage the entirety of HR Operations for the local region, this includes (but not limited to):
* Updating the personnel file with new joiners and leavers.
* Work with Finance to process the monthly payroll.
* Prepare people reports and manage the leave records of employees.
* Partner with managers and leaders on performance management.
* Execute the employee policies and manage employee acknowledgement.
* Ensure all advice and guidance given is compliant with relevant employment legislation and company policies and procedures.
* Work with the Global HR Team and respective countries when required.
* Assist the Global HR Team with administering benefits, compensation, employee performance programs and annual performance reviews.
* Constantly keeping updated with changes to employment related legislation and updating the policies and procedures as required.
Employee Relations (20%):
* Provide effective and dedicated HR advisory service to employees in relation to absence, conduct and capability, grievance matters, organizational change, and all other employee-relations matters.
* Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook, employee directory, and organizational chart, and contributes to the development of policies.
* Maintain attention to key employment issues/events that can impact our policies and potential enquiries from employees. Communicate this information back to the appropriate stakeholders.
Qualifications:
* At least 5 years of experience working in a generalist HR function in a global organization.
* Experience in working in the financial industry and understanding ASIC regulations will be a strong advantage.
* Bachelor's degree holder in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Psychology or related studies.
* Strong business acumen and commercial understanding for company development.
* Excellent communication in both written and verbal formats.
* Ability to maintain highly confidential information.
* Passionate team player, willing to help out the team and office.
* Demonstrated experience in handling all levels of recruitment.
* Knowledge of current employment law, regulations and legislations.
* Knowledge of HRIS, Applicant Tracking Systems, and other HR systems.
