About the role

In this newly created role, you will bring together the key areas of Fleet, Travel and our Help Pod team into a single, integrated corporate services function. Accountable for building a scalable, customer‐focused operation that supports Hydro Tasmania's productivity, cost leadership and sustainability goals. Success will come through strong leadership, effective use of systems and data, and the ability to guide teams through change while continuously improving how services are delivered.

Salary range

$140,****** – $163,****** plus super

Key responsibilities

* Build and lead a capable, service‐focused team with clear standards, accountability and development pathways
* Set and deliver a services strategy aligned to cost efficiency, safety, sustainability and employee experience
* Own budgets, supplier relationships and cost optimisation across all services
* Use systems, data and insights to improve service performance, productivity and ways of working
* Ensure strong governance, safety, compliance and risk management across fleet and travel operations

* Proven experience leading shared or operational services in complex organisations
* Strong people leadership capability with experience building high‐performing teams
* Strong financial acumen
* Confidence working with systems, data and performance insights
* Ability to lead integrated services without being a technical expert in every area
* A customer‐focused mindset and strong stakeholder influencing skills
