Our Client
ASEH is part of the United Petroleum group of companies and holds c.$500m worth of property assets across the commercial, industrial, retail and residential property classes within Australia. There is a unique opportunity for a Senior Property Lawyer to join ASEH and work within the wider United Petroleum in-house team, advising across end-to-end property matters impacting on the group's property portfolio.
The Role
This role will suit a Senior Property Lawyer with prior top tier and/or in-house experience at the Senior Legal Counsel, Special Counsel or Partner level. Applicants must be comfortable providing counsel on property matters at executive and board level and thrive in a complex, project-driven, entrepreneurial environment.
The role will be responsible for managing all legal property related matters (acquisition, sale and lease) for the property holding company, ASEH, and the United Petroleum business. The role will be varied and challenging, including negotiating contracts of purchase and sale, leases, licences, and a range of property related commercial documents, as well as the management of any property related disputes.
