About the Position
We are currently seeking a motivated and energetic warehouse operator to join our team in Murwillumbah. This position is on a casual basis and shifts start from 6:30am. The successful candidate will be reporting to the DC & Supply Chain Supervisor and will support our distribution team. The warehouse includes a dedicated loading/unloading bay, with an additional racking system for bulk storage of finished goods. We use both conventional forklifts and a side loader to load and unload trucks as well as store material in high bay racking and bulk storage. Experience in operating both types of equipment is highly desirable. Some basic experience with administrative tasks and computer skills would be helpful.
Key responsibilities include:
- Accurately and efficiently picking and packing orders to ensure timely delivery.
- Loading / unloading of vehicles and managing paperwork.
- General warehouse duties to maintain a safe and effective workplace.
- Receipting and invoicing inventory.
- Inventory management, including stocktakes and rotation of stock.
- Maintaining housekeeping and safety standards within the warehouse.
- Safe loading, unloading and storing of stock.
About You
- Experience with a side loader and a current forklift licence are essential
- Ability to work independently and a positive attitude
- You will have a strong commitment to safety in the workplace
- Great organisational skills coupled with excellent communication and problem solving skills
- MS Windows experience
- Have a flexible approach, work hard and embrace new challenges
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
