Hotel Manager – Brisbane City - Accommodation, Pub & Gaming
We're seeking an experienced and customer focused Hotel Manager to join our team. Our property has 70 accommodation rooms, a pub, and a small gaming room. This role suits someone who genuinely enjoys customer service and isn't afraid to get hands-on. Whether that's greeting guests at reception, checking room cleanliness and quality, jumping behind the bar, or making sure the admin runs smoothly. We use RMS as our front office accommodation system, so experience with this (or similar) will be highly regarded.
Responsibilities
* Greet guests at reception and provide excellent customer service.
* Oversee room cleanliness and quality control for 70 accommodation rooms.
* Assist behind the bar and support pub operations as required.
* Ensure smooth administrative operations in daily hotel management.
* Utilise RMS or similar front office system to manage reservations and guest information.
* Maintain compliance duties including licensing obligations and reporting (OLGR, AML/CTF) and proper record keeping.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Minimum 1-2 years of hotel management or hospitality leadership experience.
* Friendly, customer-focused approach.
* Flexible, approachable, and willing to roll up their sleeves.
* Confidence in day-to-day hotel operations.
* Willingness to take on compliance duties including licensing obligations, OLGR reporting, AML/CTF requirements, and record keeping.
* Certificates – must have or be willing to obtain: RSA, RMLV; All required certificates must be obtained within the first month of employment.
