We're looking for someone who loves current floral trends, has an eye for colour and composition, and can walk into a busy flower room, pick up the tools, and know the difference between "good enough" and done with intention.

At Brisbane Market Flowers, we work across retail, weddings and sympathy, and we need someone who is confident in all three.
As the one remaining family florist within the Brisbane Flower Markets, we've built our reputation over three decades. We're a design-focused studio known for work that feels considered and premium.
This role suits someone grounded and immersed in floristry. It may also suit someone returning to the industry or balancing family life, but still wanting to stay connected to floristry and work at a high standard.
The role:
* Casual | 10+ hours per week (with potential to increase for the right applicant)
* Some early starts from 5:30am
* Rotating Saturdays (approx one per month)
* Based at Rocklea Flower Markets
You:
* Comfortable with modern, trend-led designs across weddings and sympathy
* 5+ years with proven floral industry experience
* Can work independently and under direction of our team leader
* Take genuine pride in your work
* Warm, professional, and approachable – confident to engage with customers
* Experience in funeral florals will be highly regarded
* Familiarity with Shopify/POS systems is advantageous (or able to learn quickly)

$35 – $38 per hour + penalties
