A day in the life of our Quality and Compliance Officer can include, but are not limited to the following:
* Provide expert interpretation and advice on all Real Futures contracts, ensuring compliance with government and regulatory standards.
* Develop, implement, and review workplace policies and procedures related to compliance, risk management, and quality assurance.
* Continuously review the Service Delivery Models/Contracts and internal processes to ensure they align with contract requirements.
* Conduct reviews of Documentary Evidence entered into ESS, Workforce Australia Online, CRM systems, or retained at sites in accordance with the Audit Schedule, using both desktop and on-site methods.
* Assist with the collection and collation of necessary documentation and evidence for the Department and governing bodies.
* Prepare monthly reports, identifying risks, detailing mitigation strategies, and recommending improvements for compliance.
* Collaborate with site managers to interpret audit results, support the development of remedial actions, and track follow-up reviews to ensure ongoing improvements.
* Identify trends and systemic issues across sites and provide advice and recommendations for improvements.
* Conduct skills gap analyses based on audit findings and facilitate targeted training interventions.
* Review all external publications to ensure compliance with Department contracts and regulatory standards.
* Perform monthly caseload reviews to ensure that no legitimate claims are missed by sites.
* Lead quality audits across all operational areas, ensuring the full implementation and compliance of the Quality Management System.
* Manage and report on all compliance and risk activities monthly, including retaining government contracts and overseeing the signing and implementation of contract variations.
Knowledge/Skills
* Tertiary Qualifications in Administration, Human Services, Business, Marketing, Employment Services, or associated fields Experience in Community Service, Children, Youth and Families or Employment Services
* Knowledge of employment services or other human services sector
* Knowledge of the legislative, regulatory, and quality framework relevant to Disability Employment Services including National Standards for Disability Services, an understanding of the principles of the DES Reforms and Privacy legislation.
* WHS, HR & relevant legislative requirements e.g. WHS, Privacy, Disability & other discrimination, Social Security Act, etc.
* Intermediate knowledge of PC based applications e.g. MS Office, database applications
* Understanding or and work within complaints and conflict resolutions procedures
* Exceptional organisational and time management abilities to manage competing priorities.
* Highly developed communication and negotiation skills
* Ability to work within a team and autonomously

To be considered you must...
* Have full working rights in Australia
* Have a current driver's licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
* Complete an Australia History Criminal Check
* Have a current Working with Children Check or willing to obtain a Working with Children Check before employment
* Ability to work Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 5:00pm
