Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Planning
* Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive marketing strategies that align with business objectives.
* Plan and maintain a social media content calendar to ensure consistent and timely postings.
* Conduct market research to identify trends, target audiences, and competitive positioning.
* Content Creation
* Create high-quality, original content for various platforms, including graphics, videos, blogs, stories, and posts.
* Write engaging copy for social media, website, email newsletters, and promotional materials.
* Collaborate with designers, photographers, and videographers to ensure content aligns with brand guidelines.
* Social Media Management
* Manage and grow the company's presence across major social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
* Monitor, moderate, and respond to comments and messages in a timely manner to encourage community engagement.
* Build and nurture online communities, fostering positive interactions and brand advocacy.
* Campaign Execution & Analysis
* Plan and execute paid advertising campaigns across digital channels (Meta Ads, Google Ads, etc.).
* Track and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, using analytics tools to measure KPIs such as reach, engagement, conversions, and ROI.
* Make data-driven recommendations to improve campaign performance and audience targeting.
* Collaboration & Communication
* Work closely with internal teams (sales, product, customer service) to ensure cohesive messaging and campaign alignment.
* Coordinate with external partners, influencers, and agencies for collaborative campaigns and brand partnerships.
* Reputation Management
* Monitor online reviews and brand mentions; address issues and leverage positive feedback to enhance reputation.
* Stay updated with the latest industry trends, platform updates, and best practices in digital marketing and social media.
* General Support
* Assist with website updates, SEO optimization, and content management.
* Support the organization's broader marketing initiatives, including events, PR, and traditional advertising as required.
* Prepare regular reports for management on marketing activities and results.
Event Management
In addition to core marketing and social media responsibilities, this role is hands-on with event and customer management. The Marketing & Social Media Specialist will manage our customer database in ZOHO and Eventbrite, respond to customer inquiries, promote events, and ensure a seamless experience from booking to execution. This position is key in coordinating event logistics and supporting the General Manager to deliver outstanding, well-organized events for our clients at monthly breakfast, Next Level Retreat and other events where required.
o Manage customer data base ZOHO & Eventbrite
o Respond to customer inquires
o Promote events to new & existing customers
o Monitor online bookings
o Coordinate all necessary materials in preparation for all events.
o Ensure all items on the checklists are completed on time
o Assist at the monthly breakfasts and ensure the smooth running of each event in coordination with the General Manager

Pay: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
