Electrical Maintenance Technician
Location: Wynyard (TS22 area)
Pay: £19.24 per hour (PAYE)
Job type: Full-time, temporary (27 April 2026 – 29 May 2026)
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to work at a large commercial site in Wynyard. This is a full-time temporary role with an immediate start.
Working hours
40 hours per week (shift pattern to be confirmed)
About the role
You will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across a busy site, ensuring all systems are operating safely and efficiently.
Key responsibilities
* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
* Responding to reactive maintenance and breakdowns
* Fault finding and repair of electrical systems
* Ensuring all work is completed in line with health regulations
* Supporting general maintenance tasks where required
* Keeping accurate maintenance records
Requirements
* Proven experience in electrical maintenance
* Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g. City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)
* Strong fault‐finding and problem‐solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good understanding of health procedures
This is a solid short-term role on a well-known commercial site, ideal for an experienced Electrical Technician available immediately.
