Plan and implement purchasing strategies for grocery items, negotiate with suppliers, and set competitive pricing for products. Promote store specials, discounts, and seasonal products to increase sales and attract customers. Assist customers in locating grocery items, provide product information, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
Monitor and maintain accurate records of inventory, stock movement, and daily sales transactions. Prepare and manage the store budget, monitor expenses, and control operational costs. Recruit, train, supervise, and schedule store staff to maintain efficient store operations and high service standards.
Ensure compliance with food safety standards, workplace health and safety regulations, and store policies.
