The Opportunity As a Project Performance Manager or Lead, you'll be the driving force behind a project's lifecycle. From shaping its initial design to managing ongoing reporting and engaging with key stakeholders, you'll ensure long-term success and compliance of a diverse portfolio of projects. This isn't just a strategic role; it's hands-on, requiring you to navigate complex challenges and celebrate real-world impact. Key responsibilities include: Owning the performance and compliance of a regional portfolio of carbon projects. Leading engagement with landholders, auditors, and the Clean Energy Regulator. Directing strategic, technical, and operational work, including project design and performance target setting. Overseeing business-as-usual operations, including monitoring and reporting. Managing commercial performance, including forecasting and risk management. Coordinating internal and external stakeholders. Travelling to regional and remote sites for field visits and audits. The ideal candidate will have/be: Proven ability to manage a portfolio of complex projects, ideally in agriculture, environment, or natural capital. Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, particularly with landholders, auditors, and regulators. Experience in project design and delivery, with the ability to manage competing priorities. Working knowledge of ecological and environmental sciences (experience with vegetation mapping or carbon methods highly desirable).
