Project Overview
HumeLink West Project Two CIMIC Group companies, UGL and CPB Contractors have been selected by Transgrid to deliver the 130km western section of the HumeLink high voltage electricity transmission project. The project is a new 500kV transmission line that will connect Wagga Wagga, Maragle and Bannaby in regional NSW, significantly increasing the capacity of the electricity network in Australia's eastern states. HumeLink is one of Australia's largest energy infrastructure projects, with about 365km of proposed new transmission lines and a range of other new and upgraded infrastructure. The HumeLink West scope of works, worth $1.4bn, includes delivery of new 500kV double circuit transmission lines spanning ~140km from Wagga Wagga Substation to a new Substation at Gugaa, the Interface Point with HumeLink East near Gundagai and a new substation at Maragle in the Snowy Mountains for future connection to Snowy 2.0.

Responsibilities
* Actively participate in developing a construction HSE culture that integrates safety and environmental awareness as a natural part of the job.
* Oversee the safe delivery of the stringing work.
* Ensure that allocated resources remain productive.
* Promote proactive safety and environmental awareness for all personnel under your supervision.
* Report to the Construction Manager on all matters relating to quality elements of construction works.
* Direct subcontractors.
Skills & Experience
* Minimum of 3 years as a Stringing Supervisor.
* Tertiary and industry qualifications or significant experience in a supervisory role for construction and engineering projects.
* Extensive experience in all aspects of stringing.
* Thorough understanding of Australian OHS legislative requirements.
* Excellent verbal communication skills.
* Driver's Licence.
Requirements
Applicants must hold a current Construction Industry Induction Card (White Card or equivalent) and undergo a medical assessment (including drug and alcohol testing) prior to commencement. Where applicable, evidence of tertiary qualifications and proof of right to work will be required prior to successful appointment.
