The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced, diligent and technically minded Switchboard Assembler to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the assembly and wiring of electrical switchboards and control panels according to technical specifications and drawings. This position is ideal for a semi-retired individual looking to keep their skills sharp in a flexible, casual capacity.
Key Responsibilities
* Assembly and Wiring: Assemble and wire electrical switchboards and control panels following technical drawings and specifications.
* Tool Proficiency: Utilise hand and power tools safely and effectively during assembly processes.
* Schematic Interpretation: Read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate assembly.
* Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks to ensure assemblies meet company standards and client requirements.
* Team Collaboration: Work independently and collaboratively to meet production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications and Experience
* Technical Skills: Proficiency with hand and power tools used in electrical assembly.
* Experience: 2+ years of Previous experience in switchboard assembly is a must for this role.
* Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Communication: Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
