About the Role
SunSmart Sunshine Coast has an exciting opportunity an experienced Solar and Battery Installer. This full-time role is based in Warana and will involve the installation and maintenance of residential and commercial systems across the Sunshine Coast region.
What you'll be doing
* Safely install and commission solar PV systems and batteries according to industry standards and regulations
* Undertake solar panel, inverter and battery installations, including mounting, cabling and connection to the electrical grid
* Perform routine maintenance and fault-finding
* Provide excellent customer service and liaise with clients throughout the installation process
* Work as part of a team to ensure all projects are completed to a high standard and on time
* Maintain detailed records and documentation for each installation where applicable
* Mentor apprentices where required
What we're looking for
* Current Electrical Work Licence
* SAA Accreditation for Solar & Battery Design and Install (or willing to obtain - we will cover costs for the right candidate)
* Experience in the installation and maintenance of residential and commercial solar and battery systems
* Strong knowledge of solar & battery power system design, components and installation techniques (or eagerness to learn and upskill)
* Ability to read and interpret electrical job cards
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* A current driver's licence and reliable transportation
* Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
* Ability to work at heights and in outdoor environments
* A Strong work ethic
