Learning & Development Coordinator – People and Talent

Type: Part‐time, Continuing Appointment (30 hrs p/wk)

About The Position

Reporting to the General Manager, People Experience, the Learning & Development Coordinator plays a hands‐on role supporting learning and capability initiatives that elevate the staff experience.

Working within a small and busy team in a recently established People Experience function, you will coordinate the planning, development and delivery of activities that build capability, connection and performance. The role blends learning coordination, content development and project support across learning and development, organisational development, staff engagement and talent management, helping ensure people‐focused initiatives run smoothly through practical resources, efficient processes, and accurate evaluation and data.

Key Responsibilities

* Learning coordination: coordinate end‐to‐end logistics for workshops, programs and webinars (scheduling, communications, enrolments, arranging resources and evaluation), including physically setting up and packing down sessions.
* Content and resource development: develop and update professional adult learning materials, including presentations, facilitator guides, job aids, infographics, flyers and eLearning resources, using programs such as Articulate 360, Canva, Adobe and Microsoft 365.
* Learning systems and administration: maintain learning calendars, SharePoint pages, enrolments and completion records to keep systems and processes running smoothly and information accurate and accessible.
* Project and initiative support: provide administrative and coordination support under the direction of the General Manager, including maintaining documentation, communications, stakeholder engagement and milestone tracking.
* Data and reporting: maintain records and prepare summaries, dashboards and reports to support insights and continuous improvement.
* Stakeholder collaboration: partner with subject matter experts, facilitators and internal teams to translate technical, theoretical or legislative information into clear, practical learning resources (e.g., eLearning modules) and deliver learning sessions.

Note: This is a part‐time, onsite position with a roster of 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, 30 hours per week (Monday – Thursday or Tuesday – Friday).

Requirements

About the Person

You Will Bring

* Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Education, Psychology or a related discipline, with a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (highly preferred).
* Experience supporting organisation‐focused Learning & Development / People & Culture initiatives for staff in a coordination or administration role.
* Demonstrated ability to develop adult learning content and practical support resources across face‐to‐face, virtual and digital formats.
* Experience coordinating learning activities end‐to‐end, including planning, logistics, evaluation and reporting.
* Strong professional written and verbal communication skills, with confidence producing high‐quality staff communications and learning artefacts (e.g., presentations, guides and job aids).
* Practical experience with Microsoft 365 and contemporary digital learning tools (Articulate 360/Rise, Canva, Adobe or similar highly desirable).
* Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining high‐quality outputs in a busy environment.

Salary details

The salary for this 0.816 FTE position commences at $67,899.36 per annum (Full‐time Equivalent is $83,210 per annum) plus 12% superannuation per annum.
