Join our Toowoomba team as a part-time [0.8FTE] Speech Pathologist or Occupational Therapist, to deliver specialised play groups and home visits, providing therapeutic support to vulnerable families and children. * Salary range: $110,110 - $114,984 + Superannuation.
* Part-time, Government funded position until 31 December 2027 with possible extension.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work alongside families to create nurturing, play-based environments that strengthen parent-child connections and support healthy development.
* Partner with families to understand their journey by assessing growth and progress, ensuring every child and parent feels supported and valued.
* Provide compassionate, evidence-based therapy to children with diverse needs, helping them thrive while upholding the highest professional standards.
* Share your expertise to empower families, colleagues, and community partners with practical strategies that improve everyday life for children.

About You
* A tertiary qualification in Speech and Language Pathology or Occupational Therapy.
* Membership of the relevant professional body (i.e., Speech Pathology Australia) is desirable.
* Experience working with vulnerable children and their families with complex needs is desirable.
* Familiarity with the Abecedarian Approach Australia (3A) is desirable.
* Experience providing individual and group Speech Pathology/Occupational Therapy interventions to children, young people, and their families.
* Clinical and therapeutic understanding of the impacts of trauma on child and family functioning and knowledge of current trauma treatment trends.
