Job Title: General Manager, English Language Institute
Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled leader to oversee the Deakin University English Language Institute (DUELI). The successful candidate will lead and manage the institute, ensuring the effective promotion of ELI pathway programs to support international enrolment goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the Deakin University English Language Institute (DUELI), ensuring the effective promotion of ELI pathway programs to support international enrolment goals.
* Develop and implement strategies to drive business development in a competitive market.
* Maintain and develop pathways into Deakin University and Deakin College, ensuring high student satisfaction.
* Provide academic and operational leadership to a multifunctional team, including workforce planning, recruitment, and professional development of teachers.
Requirements:
* Degree, Post Graduate Qualifications TESOL qualifications and extensive relevant experience in English Language Training programs.
* Extensive experience in leadership and management of English Language Training (ELT) programs in a university ELICOS setting.
* Extensive experience in developing, teaching and evaluating English for Academic Purposes, English for Specific Purposes and General English courses.
* Demonstrated awareness of the pathway options and issues related to international students undertaking direct entry English language pathway programs.
* Experience in International context marketing and business development.
* Experience managing revenue and expenditure budgets.
