An independent co-educational day and boarding school is seeking a suitably qualified and experiencedHead of TASto commence in ****.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to lead a dynamic department and contribute to a culture of academic excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
The Role
Provide creative and effective leadership across the department
Oversee curriculum delivery in line with NESA requirements
Lead innovation in teaching, learning, and use of technology
Mentor and support staff in pedagogy, goal setting, and professional growth
Monitor student achievement, engagement, and wellbeing, implementing interventions where needed
Ensure effective reporting, assessment, and curriculum compliance
Manage departmental resources, budget, and staffing allocations
Actively contribute to the wider life of the school community
About You
Strong subject knowledge and expertise in TAS, ideally with HSC experience
Demonstrated leadership experience in teaching and learning
Proven ability to mentor staff and foster collaboration
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, staff, and families
Commitment to continuous professional growth and departmental improvement
Capacity to inspire students to achieve their personal best
Relevant qualifications (e.g., Teaching qualification, Leadership Certification or Training)
