Reporting into the Head of Technology Risk Advisory as a Senior Manager you will be a trusted partner to our senior technology leaders, providing expert advice and independent oversight. You will play a crucial role in shaping our risk management strategy, ensuring we stay ahead of emerging threats and maintain a strong compliance posture. * Senior Manager, Technology Risk Advisory (Core Platforms)
* Senior Manager, Technology Risk Advisory (Data & AI)
* Senior Manager, Technology Risk Advisory (CISO & Technology Strategy)
In this role you'll get to…
* Provide expert risk advice and recommendations on the application of risk management frameworks to senior technology leaders.
* Offer strategic oversight and constructive challenge on the identification, assessment, and management of technology risks.
* Monitor and report on the technology risk profile, escalating emerging risks and key matters to senior committees.
* Support the development and implementation of the bank's overall technology and risk management strategy.
* Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders across all three lines of defense.
What you'll bring to the role
To be successful in the role you will have:
* Extensive non-financial risk experience within a technology environment, preferably in banking or financial services industry.
* Proven experience at a Senior Manager level, with deep knowledge of Technology Risk, Information Security (CPS234), and Data Risk (CPG235).
* A well-developed practical understanding of modern technology environments, including cloud platforms, and a keen awareness of emerging trends and threats.
* Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence and drive change at a senior level.
* A collaborative mindset with proven experience in building sustainable relationships and navigating complex organizational structures.
